Make Valentine’s Day Special while Vacationing in Orlando, Florida

While staying in one of the greatest entertainment capitals of the world, you may ask yourself what to do for Valentine’s Day, not lacking in options but rather trying to sift through an abundance of information. You would most likely have to go through a multitude of websites to gain an overview of what Orlando has to offer. Let me see if I can summarize some of these for you instead.

Visit Orlando
One of the best sources for things to do is of course Visit Orlando. They really are the official source for Orlando travel planning. They put together a great list of suggestions this year that includes both small local gems along with some of the big names in the travel business. How does a Valentine’s Concert in the beautiful Leu Gardens sound?

Disney World
Disney offers both romantic suggestions for dining and special Valentine events. If you’re looking for entertainment, The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is a great option. The atmosphere is exciting with a venue to wow. If you are looking for something more personal and low key, the Portobello Country Italian Trattoria offers fine dining with an opportunity for couples to gaze into each others eyes and sneak some under-table handholding. End the day with a Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party.

Universal Studios
Universal Studios don’t have a special Valentine’s event per se, but you can spend a romantic evening at the Universal City Walk. Low key is not how the City Walk is best described, but you can tap into your youthful soul and take your loved one on a traditional date; perhaps start with a game of miniature golf, go for a nice dinner – the choices are plenty, and end the evening with a movie, live music or perhaps see the Blue Man’s Group.

Sea World
The atmosphere is always warm and celebratory at Sea World where you stroll among beautiful scenery to the rhythm of instrumental music. If you visit Sea World on Valentine’s this year you can see Gladys Knight in concert. How cool is that?

Dining
You always have the option to take it easy and spend a romantic evening at a restaurant. If you’re staying at the Reunion Resort you don’t need to leave the resort to find elegance and fine dining. But if you feel a need to venture out and explore other options, the Orlando Date Night Guide offers these suggestions for romance.

If you wish to extend your romantic endeavors this month, Reunion Vacation Homes has a special Promotion for you.

Stay in a Florida luxury rental property and enjoy the warmer climate away from the snow and sniffles.

Give us a call to find out more. We’d love to have you as a guest in the beautiful Reunion Resort!
